OBN representatives visits Frame Motion Studio

25th September 2009

Omni Broadcasting Network members John Shebat de Silva, Tan Jin Yin, Lim Hui Sian, Chan Ming Charn, and Maya Hanum paid Frame Motion Studio in Petaling Jaya a visit to have their official photographs taken. The photos will be compiled and arranged into the structure of the nominee video at the Awards presentation on 8th October.

09.09.09 Presentation at the APICTA (Malaysia) Finals

On Wednesday, 9th September 2009, Omni Broadcasting Network presented it's piece to a panel of 3 judges, two of which are of the 'Upin dan Ipin' (produced by Les' Copaque Productions) fame.

The judging process took place at the Lili Room, MDEC at Cyberjaya.

From the total number of submissions around the nation reaching over 60 entries, only 6 were chosen to be in the finals. Two teams (including OMNI) from KDU Penang made it into the final round.

The submission pack to the judges included: a Presentation Kit, a Brochure, a DVD containing the abridged video, and a DVD containing the full edition of the presentation (Director's Cut)

OBN selected for the APICTA 2009 Finals


Omni Broadcasting Network's video submission under the Best of Tertiary Student Project (Creative Multimedia) for the MSC Malaysia Asia Pacific ICT Awards 2009 has been shortlisted for the finals.

The presentation will take place on the 9th of September 2009 at Cyberjaya with John Shebat de Silva, OBN's Director as the conductor and Felicia Aw Bee Kim, subject advisor alongside.

Winners of the awards will represent Malaysia in the International presentation at Melbourne, Australia in November / December 2009.
